Why is chain lubrication so important?

Chain lubrication reduces friction and wear, prevents corrosion, and minimizes chain elongation. This increases the efficiency and lifespan of the drive system, improves heat dissipation, and reduces operating noise. Regular lubrication ensures reliable operation of your chain drive.

What are MÄDLER® chain lubrication sprockets?

Chain lubrication sprockets, also known as lubrication sprockets, are special sprockets designed to deliver lubricant precisely to the relevant parts of the chain (roller chain links).

In combination with a gas pressure dispenser like the Perma Classic or the System 24, chain lubrication sprockets can be efficiently supplied with a maximum line length of 1.5 m. Using oil as a lubricant ensures reliable lubrication due to the lower back pressure compared to grease applications. For optimal performance, we recommend installing an optional oil retention valve.

How do MÄDLER® chain lubrication sprockets work?

The rollers made of open-cell PU foam transfer the lubricant precisely to the roller chain links. The lubrication rollers are driven by a plastic sprocket. The installation position is flexible. Lubricant supply can be automatic or manual, e.g., with a grease gun.
